PB Chocolate Power Bites

Makes: 12 bites
Ingredients:

  • 1 cup quick oats

  • 1 cup powdered peanut butter

  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

  • 1 scoop (30g) chocolate protein powder

  • 2 tablespoons cacao powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

  • 2 tablespoons mini dark chocolate chips (optional but used in the original batch)

  • 1–2 tablespoons water or unsweetened almond milk, as needed for texture

Instructions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients:
    In a large bowl, combine:

    • 1 cup oats

    • 1 cup powdered peanut butter

    • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder

    • 2 tablespoons cacao powder

    • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

  2. Add the wet ingredients:

    • Stir in 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup.

    • Mix well. Add water or almond milk 1 tablespoon at a time until the texture becomes dough-like and sticky, but not wet.

  3. Fold in chocolate chips (optional)

    • Add 2 tablespoons mini dark chocolate chips if using.

  4. Form bites:

    • Roll into 12 evenly sized balls.

  5. Chill:

    • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or freeze for firmer texture).

    • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for longer.

Estimated using PB powder and chocolate whey protein:

  • Calories: ~80

  • Protein: ~6g

  • Carbs: ~8g

  • Fat: ~2.5g

  • Fiber: ~2g

  • Calories: 80 × 12 = 960 kcal

  • Protein: 6g × 12 = 72g

  • Carbs: 8g × 12 = 96g

  • Fat: 2.5g × 12 = 30g

  • Fiber: 2g × 12 = 24g
